Our Programs
We offer a variety of growth opportunities to our members via four main programs: mentorMatch, The Verdict, Career Basics and Work & Wellness.
The Verdict
The Verdict is a unique experience curated for black youth across Canada to tackle real-life business challenges. Participants stand a chance to win ca$h prizes and possibly get hired by HR, senior leaders and judges present.
Over 6 weeks, participants will work within their teams to develop solutions to the challenges assigned. They will also be required to match with mentors via our mentorMatch to guide them towards delivering a truly competitive solution.
mentorMatch
mentorMatch is a mentoring program for black youth to connect and learn from professionals in their areas of interest. Mentees are expected to attend each moment (moment = 1hr) with specific challenges for their mentors to provide adequate guidance.
Interested black youth and mentors are welcome to sign up on mentorMatch and are encouraged to join our community to remain up to date with new happenings and new mentors joining the community.
Career Basics
Career Basics is a transformative course designed to bridge the gap between the technical skills of black youth and how they position themselves for success in the workplace.
Work & Wellness
A holistic wellness experience for members to address burdensome issues, workplace challenges and mental obstacles to growth.
