The home of
bold ambition

Where youth of colour turn their big dreams into bold actions so they can thrive at work and in life.

If you’ve ever felt down because there’s a lot you need to learn; a lot you need to be; a lot you need to do. It’s time to redefine what it means to be “a lot”. We are a lot of things – A support system for young dreamers of colour. A resource to turn dreams into action. A community that boldly embodies Christ-like values. A talent pool for companies looking to diversify their workforce. A partner in creating youth-of-color-friendly experiences.
We’re a lot… and that’s what makes us special.

YOU'RE DOING IT *

“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.”

Proverbs 22:29 (NIV)

Achieve beyond limits—together.

Where are the ambitious go-getters ready to put in the work to turn their dreams into reality? That you? Then you’re in good company.

You know the saying: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. Now imagine a hub where you get to connect with like-minded people willing to go far with you, mentors willing to share their wisdom through learning opportunities tailored to your pain points, and more.

Stop imagining—because this is where it all happens. Ready to go far?

  • “This is the first year Mediabrands has been involved. Shelley Smit, CEO of UM and Mediabrands’ DEI Community lead, says Mediabrands contacted IMDOINGIT after the 2020 event to discuss getting involved and expanding the media industry content. The program is part of the agency’s multi-year DEI strategy intended to drive meaningful, sustainable equity within its network and a more inclusive industry community overall.

  • “We’ve broadened our search to not only include people with transferable skills from outside our industry, but also actively source talent from underrepresented communities through long-term partnerships with organizations like POCAM and IMDOINGIT to bridge and expand our talent market.”

  • "It was only when the idea “blew up,” with 35 mentees signing up to participate, that she realized her side-hustle would benefit from a more structured approach. She connected with Dami Eluyera, a brand strategist at A Brand New Thing, founder of the IMDOINGIT business mentorship for Black youth launched in 2020 and someone Adeniyi also considers a mentor. Now, All Things Ad sits under the broader IMDOINGIT umbrella."
