Omo is the University Pension Plan’s Chief People Officer. She leads a dynamic team in designing and implementing progressive people-centered programs for a thriving new pension plan.

Omo was previously the City of Toronto’s Chief People Officer where she supported the City’s 37,000+ workforce and led all people related aspects of the City's COVID-19 response and led a number of reconciliation and equity related initiatives and partnerships with Toronto’s diverse communities. Omo spent over a decade as a labour, employment and human rights lawyer.

Omo is a Vice-Chair of the University of Toronto Administrative Tribunal, and on George Brown College’s Board. She is a past Director and continuing champion of Abiona Centre for pregnant and parenting adolescents, the Sherbourne Health Centre and the Community One Foundation. She volunteers with the Out of the Cold program and mentors students and teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
